Meeting the Alpacas: The experience begins at a designated meeting point, where you’ll be introduced to the friendly alpacas. Each one has its own distinct personality, and your guide will share insights about their behavior, care, and importance within the farming community. Feel the excitement as you get acquainted, and even take a moment to pet their soft fleeces, which is known for being incredibly warm and luxurious. The Walk: As you embark on the walk, you’ll be paired with your own alpaca, walking along serene country lanes and through lush fields. Alpaca Experience Booking Policy Purpose of the Policy To outline the terms and conditions for booking alpaca experiences at our farm, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all guests. Booking Procedure 1. Reservation Requirement: - All alpaca experiences must be booked in advance. Walk-ins may not be accommodated due to limited availability. (with the exceptions of open days and wellness walk) 2. Age Restrictions: - Children must be at least 4 years old to participate in the alpaca experience. - Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult. A ratio of one adult for every two children is required for safety reasons. 3. Group Size: - Each booking can accommodate a maximum of 6 participants per session. Larger groups can inquire about separate bookings by contacting us directly. 4. Payment Terms: - Payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. 5. Cancellation and Refund Policy: - Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled experience will receive a full refund. - Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled experience will not receive a refund. - In the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the experience and will provide a full refund or reschedule. 6. Health and Safety Guidelines: - Guests must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided before and during the experience, including , wearing appropriate clothing such closed-toe shoes, etc. - Any guests who appear to be unwell or exhibit symptoms of illness may be asked to reschedule for the safety of all participants. 7. Photography and Media: - Guests are welcome to take photos during the experience. However, please be mindful of other visitors and ensure the alpacas' comfort. - By participating in the experience, guests consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed, with images potentially used for promotional purposes. If you do not want your photo's shared please specify before the experience starts. 8. Liability Waiver: - All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating.
