Service Description
Give someone you love the gift of time, calm and connection. This half-day experience is a gentle invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life and into the slower rhythm of the countryside — guided by the quiet presence of our alpacas. The experience begins with a warm welcome and a chance to meet the animals, learning their personalities and building a calm connection before setting off on a relaxed countryside walk. Moving at the alpacas’ pace, you’ll wander through peaceful surroundings, with time to pause, breathe, and take it all in. After the walk, you’ll spend time feeding and caring for the animals, followed by a shared picnic beside the alpacas, allowing you to simply sit, eat, and enjoy being outdoors in their company. There is no rush — this is about presence, not schedules. The experience gently concludes with an Animal Connection session in our barn. Rest in hammocks or seated areas, enjoy a warm drink, and take part in a short grounding or meditation moment designed to help you fully unwind and reset. For those who wish to go a little deeper, an optional creative art session can be added, offering a relaxed, expressive way to reflect on the experience through gentle, guided creativity inspired by the animals and landscape. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy Booking & Vouchers This experience is available by advance booking only. Virgin Experiences vouchers must be validated at the time of booking. All bookings are subject to availability and animal welfare considerations. Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Group Size & Participation Experiences are designed for small groups to ensure a calm, personal experience for both guests and animals. Maximum group size is 6–8 guests (may include multiple Virgin voucher holders). The experience is suitable for adults and young people aged 12+. Participants must be physically able to walk on uneven ground for up to one hour. Animal Welfare & Weather The wellbeing of our animals is our top priority. Experiences may be modified, shortened, or rescheduled due to: Extreme weather Ground conditions Animal health or welfare needs Where possible, suitable alternatives (barn-based activities or adjusted routes) will be offered. Cancellations & Rescheduling Virgin Experiences bookings are subject to Virgin’s voucher terms. Once a date is confirmed, changes or cancellations require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the voucher being redeemed without refund, in line with Virgin policy. If we need to cancel due to welfare or safety reasons, guests will be offered an alternative date. Arrival & Late Policy Guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience to avoid disruption to animals and other guests. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be classed as a non-attendance. Picnic & Dietary Requirements A picnic is included as part of the experience. Dietary requirements must be advised at least 72 hours in advance. We are unable to cater for last-minute dietary changes on the day. Clothing & Safety Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear are required. Experiences take place in a working farm environment. Guests must follow staff instructions at all times for safety and animal welfare. Optional Add-Ons Optional art or creative sessions are not included in the Virgin voucher price.
